The HR Generalist is an integral part of our Product, Technology, Operations, and Content (PTOC) Human Resources team. Our HR Generalist will serve as the point of contact to answer associate and manager questions, onboard new associates, manage all immigration support, assist in the performance and talent management processes, manage metrics, and manage special projects.  This role combines business partner responsibilities with the ability to lead initiatives and processes within the team. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain HRIS (SAP) data integrity 
  • Process, maintain, and escalate organization and associate updates in IssueTrak, SAP, and SharePoint to ensure that reporting structures/job titles/cost centers are correct and current
  • Coordinate and process new hires with support of the HR Ops and Talent Acquisition teams 
  • Lead the onboarding process for new associates (prep managers as needed, conduct orientation, collect process new hire paperwork)
  • Prepare reports from HRIS as requested by HR Business Partners. Lead in depth analysis of HR metrics and make thoughtful, appropriate recommendations for action (re: performance management, turnover, retention, employee satisfaction, productivity, compensation, etc.)
  • Own immigration process and liaise with Global Mobility team for all immigration and internal and domestic transfer matters 
  • Drive the off-boarding process for separating associates (conduct exit interviews, process exit surveys, track turnover data/metrics)
  • Create and run programs in-line with global HR and Talent strategy 
  • Drive other special projects where needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office and/or Google for work; SAP or other HRIS experience desired  
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Results-orientation and time management skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and across all levels of the organization
