Episode 22 of the Nielsen Experience Podcast features Brendon, the Vice President of Executive Compensation and Benefits, based in New York City.
Brendon started his career in consulting before joining Nielsen in 2008. In his current role, he is responsible for our executive compensation structure and global benefits programs.
In this episode, we explore Brendon’s journey before and at Nielsen, as well as how each opportunity in his career has helped him grow and innovate. He also shares some of the new benefits programs that he and his team are working on to make a difference for Nielsen associates around the world.
“For me, this idea of having a really fast moving environment where there’s always change happening, where things are always evolving and growing, and where we are encouraged to innovate in the work that we do is super exciting. I don’t think you get that at a lot of companies, but it is something that is really prevalent here at Nielsen. When I get up to go to work every day, I don’t always know what I am going to be doing that day, which is fun and exciting in its own right. But when I do know what I’m doing, it’s usually around pushing the envelope further. I am trying to come up with new ideas and new programs that are going to help our people improve their lives. It’s incredibly rewarding.”
