I was hired to build a new function for the company—International Government Affairs—essentially to innovate how Nielsen interacts with officials and stakeholders on global public policy. This was an irresistible opportunity because, as Nielsen becomes more digital, it’s more important than ever that we be engaged on policy.
I came to Nielsen right out of college. In my 16 years, I've worked in Client Service, Operations, Product Leadership and now Diversity & Inclusion. Each job built different skills that prepared me for the next. I've felt empowered to own my career and encouraged to explore.
